An overview of Wicca and Witchcraft. This course is designed to give a brief history and discussion of many aspects of the modern witch’s practice and give some guidance of how to jump in with your own personal practice on the Path of the Wise and the Craft of the Cunning. September 15: Wheel of the Year
The 8 Solar holidays, the cross quarters, solstices, and the equinoxes mark shifts in the yearly energy of our planet. Modern Pagans celebrate these 8 days as devotion to the Gods, connection with the Earth, and as a way to harness these specific magickal powers for their internal process as well.

Oct 13: The Wiccan Gods
The Wiccan Gods can be accessed directly and personal relationships are desired and encouraged within a Wiccan context. Learn the different aspect of the Gods (Psychological, Mystical, and Literal), and learn how to develop your relationship within Polytheism.

Nov 10: Altars and Personal Practice
Many books demand specific items should be on a proper Wiccan altar, but do not tell you what they represent or how to use them. Personalized, useful altars can be a gateway to rewarding personal practice.

Dec 8: Moon Magick
The witches night is the night of the full moon. Working with moon phases is a simple way to up your spell work and have successful ritual. Aligning to the moon will make life run smoother.

About the Presenter:
Maggi Setti has been studying for 10 years as a Celtic and Norse focused Witch. She is a Second Degree Initiate of the Assembly of the Sacred Wheel, a Wiccan Tradition, and is a member of the Coven Chalice of Living Stars in Chester County PA.

Her interests range from Women’s Empowerment, otherworld beings, nature divas, green magick, kitchen witchery, shamanism, ceremonial magick, martial arts, warriorship and sweatlodge.

Maggi has a BA Degree in Fine Art and Anthropology from Salisbury University. She moved from MD to NJ in 2008 and lives with her husband and two cats in Ridgefield Park. She serves on the council of the Northern NJ Pagan Fellowship.
