This 5 week workshop series will offer a overview of Celtic mythological themes and how they relate to pagan practice and life in the modern world. Open to all levels of experience.

Week One: Celtic Mythology - Part One
Celtic Mythology ranges from 6 Celtic lands, hundreds of years of living folklore. Celtic cosmology and introduction to themes, rather than any particular one region’s myths will be discussed.

Week Two: Celtic Mythology - Part Two
In Week two, we will continue the survey of themes and mention a few major deities specifically as to how they affect the world today.

Week Three: Celtic Shamanism
Modern Pagans have recreated a shamanistic system using Celtic myths, sacred creatures, cosmology and the inspiring connection Celts have to magick, to the earth, and to the living worlds.

Week Four: Working with Celtic Faery Beings
Stories of Faery abduction, underworld travel, and interactions with magickal creatures abound in Celtic Myth. In this session you will learn how to build relationships with otherworld creatures.

Week Five: Ritual to the Goddess Brigid
Some of the theory taught earlier will be put into the context of Practice in this devotional ritual to Brigid. Lady of the Faery Folk, Healing, Inspiration, and Protection.
